Chip Timing and Results

The 10K race will be a chip-timed event. In order to be counted in the results, each runner must attach a timing chip to either shoe. You may pick up your timing chip and zip-tie on race day at the race site. Your chip has been assigned to (you and) your bib number prior to the race. Please be careful to ensure that your chip is not exchanged with another participant. It will not be necessary to verify this on race day. A chip is required to be worn to receive an official time in the race. All timing chips will be collected after you have crossed the relay exchange point or the finish line. You will be charged a $30.00 fee if the timing chip is not returned. If you own your own timing chip, please indicate the number on your registration form. Awards will be based on gun time.
